Our Neutrino Day gallery shows??Into the Dark: Artists Exploring Dark Matter? and ?Dark Photography??remain on display at the Lead Deadwood Art Center at 309 W. Main Street in Lead through August. ?It?s been a lot of fun,? Art Center Director Karen Everett says. ?People are just fascinated by it.?

The idea of growing ultra-pure copper a mile underground has especially intrigued people. ?They want to know if we could grow gold,? Everett said.

The shows feature works by 22 South Dakota artists and photos by Sanford Lab Multimedia Specialist Matt Kapust and Black Hills State University Professor of Photography Steve Babbitt.

Beginning in fall, the show will tour South Dakota. We?ll report dates soon.
