The Sanford Lab is looking for interns who are interested in video/filmmaking/documentary work, who will work with the Sanford Lab Communications Team to develop/produce documentary style videos, 3-5 minutes in length, for the Sanford Lab Homestake Visitor Center. 
 
The Visitor Center will cover a wide variety of topics including the historic Homestake Mining Company, the history and culture of Lead, and the physics, biology and geology experiments at Sanford Lab.
 
Tasks could include 
Script writing/interview/newswriting. Video, including camera operation, recording professional-quality audio, scene lighting, green screen setup, video editing (Final Cut Pro or Premier Pro CC preferred); photography; and scene/composition setup. 
 
Time commitment is 10 hours per week (some flexibility is possible) with a salary of $10 per hour. Students will work with Sanford Lab personnel at the Lab and will be required to occasionally work underground. Preference will be given to students who can commit through May 2015.

Work samples could include a video clip, photography, audio sample, script, in-depth article that shows interview and writing skills, etc.
